Mtb's - Summer 1987. Richmond Park. Muddy Fox Courier. Friend at school called Luke Peters (not on here are you Luke?)

I'm not Luke but I was riding in Richmond Park with school mates in the late 80s. We'd cycle from Twickenham on our steel monsters (Ridgeback 601 STI, 602 and possibly a Muddy Fox courier, I forget what Lloyds was). :)

I'm not Luke either but also another Richmond Park, late 80's survivor! (plus Wimbledon Common and Barnes Common, etc.)

Used to hack around on a Raleigh Maverick, then a Dawes Ascent (which was way too big) during the mid to late 80's. Often with my Dad on various cheap and cheerful ATB's as many shops sold them as back then. I remember his first one called a Mistral Rough Rider in steel grey and weighing the same as a small car! Then when I had my yellow and white Dawes he got an Emmelle in the same colours.

We probably hit the same puddles over the years chaps!
