Hi guys
I'm currently looking for a fast, lightweight good quality retro steel framed bike (full 531 or equivalent) with 700c wheels and full mudguards for winter commute duties. I'm currently trawling the net looking for something suitable, but not knowing enough about the bewildering amount of brands/models, it is making my head hurt, so I thought I'd try my luck here and reap the benefits of the experts! I don't drive so it would need be close enough to Tunbridge Wells or Crowborough that I can get there without a car and then be able to cycle back on an unfamiliar bike, or at least close enough that I can get a train whilst avoiding the underground and extortionate rail fares.
My budget is £300. I'm around 5'11" and I usually ride a 56cm / 57cm.
