I think this thread illustrates why its not of interest to the manufacturers. Even us purists in here would only generate purchases of about 2 to 3 hundred pairs of tyres total, but that is split across about 25 preferred types so a mere handful per brand.
I've managed to reconcile using Smoke and Dart re-issues for my modern rides - it's what I used back in the day and is far from a compromise.

Totally agree. Whilst if we have 1 clear winner per main manufacturer then it at least has a chance.

Although as others have said, a few of them were all made by the same factory just branded differently.

I still feel like the big brands might consider it as a reasonable marketing exercise. Must be a reason Panaracer felt it was worth doing.
