Finally got around to converting the Viper Scandium into a winter road/gravel bike. It's now sub-8kg (17.5lbs) including pedals and bar ends. The modifications are:
Panaracer Pasela Tourguard 26 x 1.25" slicks
XT M760 chainset (to replace the XTR M970) as it has 26/26/48 chainrings, better for road use
Syntace F109 OS stem
Truvativ Noir T40 31.8 Flat bar
Ritchey WCS bar ends
Look Keo Carbon road pedals
Charge Knife saddle
Not as nice aesthetically but it'll get some use in this configuration at least!
