Bad luck mate,Sod knows why the mech ends up in the wheel but im sure there must be a law somewhere that covers this. :?
Law states- Slipping off chain must result in the maximum damage to cost ratio possible.Perhaps even a certain percentage of the cost of the chain versus the cost of everything broken 16.24:1 Not funny i know but these things happen.
I once forgot to replace the safety pins on a hope mono mini and because of that the pad securing pin fell out along with the pads.Bit of a surprise to say the least entering a busy junction slip road M8 roundabout at the height of the morning rush hour only to find the rear brake had suddenly failed
I was lucky that i was feathering the front and it must have been the pressure that kept them from falling out also.
