This Trek 970 has gotta be worth the £80 Buy it now price. I'd buy it myself if it was closer.

I saw that and thought the same as you!
Looking at the QR ends they are at least DX hubs; DX front mech, rear mech and chainset along with XT levers. Decent quality item!

Yeah, I think those early lugged Trek frames are cool.

Agreed, right smart is that. It's the bit of Essex bleeding miles away from me in Cambridge though! Reflectors in place, possible small dork-disc in place - would come up super-nice that. A lot of bike for 80 squids. Ooh, black cantis. Mint saddle hidden under the cover too?! Bargain.

Looking at some prices on eBay you could get your money back and still have a bike if you sold the rack;frame bag;seat cover;pump;bottle cage;computer;lock!

Hope someone on here got it and gets it looking as it should or at least gets to finish a build with the parts.
