Hello. I have a newly acquired track frame. Can anyone identify from the drop outs alone and the other pictures who may of built it or am I asking for a miracle? 😁 IMG_20220730_161400278.jpg IMG_20220730_161410595.jpg

A photo of the numbers might help, as position, style, layout & in what order can make all the difference

I will though try and describe the positioning of the numbers for the mo if that's okay.

The 231 looks larger than the number 0470 it is above in the middle of the bottom bracket. The 6645 appears to be running from left to right crank and if you were facing the bicycle head on up right it would be on the rear of the bottom bracket. I will still get a pic though. Thank you

From the lugs (and the probably missleadind T.A. cranks): my guess would be Peugeot...
It had never entered my mind that it could be a French bicycle...I just assumed it was British. But I will use that info and look at old Peugeot bicycles to see if I can make any comparisons between the two. Thanks for your reply.
