Top tips required for increasing leg strength!

the old east german way, before the wall came down and eastern european riders ruled the amature scene was to ride a big ring uphill seated.i am thinking the hill from furnace end to atherstone would do you nicely. as big a gear as you can manage ,slow revs and keep seated. it may be a bit hard on the knee,s though :D


or just MTFU a bit , s i dont have to wait for you next time we go out :D
 
I know that you said you do not want to join a gym but I have gotten very good results by cross training with weights. I focus mainly on core work but also do leg lifts and leg curls.
