Cool Pete, that suggests the suspension legs upgrade kit was available in 1991, although I wonder if any actually hit the shops in that year?

Not the earliest but the carbon waves are very different in comparison of other Pace production
 
24Pouces, I think those are the earlier production RC35 forks, I had some similar, chrome tubular brace at the rear?
Why are the stanchions sticking out above the crown?
