Indeed. Nice with a steak too. A pint is a bit too much after a large meal, a bottle is just right.

Strength ain't everything. Brakspear's ordinary bitter is only 3.4% but lacks nothing in taste (The Mitre in Oxford city centre serves a damn good pint of it. And the pub is next door to the equally brilliant indoor market too. :) ).

I appreciate what you are saying Dave, but this lager is literally piss. Drinking less for the same effect must be recommended.

My drinking began with many ales of the 2. something strength. Nout wrong with a good beer that does not knock you over.
