Nothing to add other than check the state of the stanchions. I've never had an issue with any of my Fox forks (but I clean my stanchions and seals but a lot don't then suffer premature wear). The later forks are really easy to service too and can be spaced down travel wise.
Seat post sizes have always varied loads and actually seem to be getting better as companies try and make their frame dropper post compatible so tend to be 30.9mm or 31.6mm.
