Stripped crank bolt/extractor threads, how to remove????????

take some bolts with you and a spanner so you can get home,just dont do em up tight or go to far..

Hahaha. I will just cycle in circles round a car park then.
 
i once had a crank survive 35 miles of commuting with no bolt before i gave up and blowtorched it off
 
I would like to thank everyone who gave help with suggestions.

Just to let you know, blow torching got the crank off cleanly and without damaging the frame or any other parts in under 5 minutes. It gets my vote from now on.

I only have access to hand grenades which can ruin your day if not used correctly.

Bearing in mind that the blast radius from a hand grenade in an urban environment is actually greater than the distance you can physically throw it! :shock:
