Stem Advice Please - Control Tech vs Ringle vs Syncros

Looks like etching came in 1997 which would be correct for mine.

I'd stick with the controltech. Ringles crack, not just face plate, though look cool. Nothing wrong with syncros though are pretty bulky.

It's just that all prices are not!

I suppose it depends on what you want, and how you want the bike to look?

(The Control Tech looks great; that Ringle would look really nice too, although it might not last.)

If it was only about performance, this site and our bikes wouldn't even exist!

I vote Syncros, followed by CT. And you can find Syncros in the matte aluminum finish, which goes nicely with ti.

Btw... there is zero difference in performance with stems. It´s just beauty.

I would stick with the Control Tech, RIngle are nice but they crack easily and may also look a bit skinny on your KK

There doesn’t seem to be many ahead type stems in titanium, and they are all ridiculous prices.
