Standing bikes...?

Has anybody got any suggestions or thoughts on whats good as bike stands for storing bikes. They will be on the floor.....

Ive seen the 90o bent metal things and whilst we used a heavy duty version in the shop 40 years ago, im not sure if the cheap ones are any good....also how easy are they to remove replace the bike with such little weight?

Any suggestion?

All my bikes stand on the above type stands, never had any problems with them indoors or out.

Try to find cheap versions, they are all the same though some charge a lot once their name is on it.

Cheers. I was just concerned they might be a bit flimsy! These were £15...that sound about right?

The old ones we had broke you toe if you kicked one and looked like bits off a railway line!

The ones I have, branded X-Tools, have a bit of weight to them and no flex, not industrial but more than suitable for me to store bikes.

Ditto what @mk one says.
All mine stand on those, they are not at all flimsy, and have plenty of float and height in the prong to accommodate differing styles of seat / chain stay interface

Got all of mine for around the £15-£20 mark from Chain Reaction - though I hear they might be going to the wall, so probably best to shop around!
