Retro Newbie
I've ridden and loved this bike for 15 years, it was from Tim at Sideways Cycles, payment for drawing his adverts when I was Billy Crayons a lifetime ago.

Every time I ride it, I am reminded it’s near perfect, though times and trends change, it still delivers the same as always.

This is a fantastically balanced blend of stiffness, lightness with enough give, it’s a perfect steel frame. This bike climbs like a goat, -It’s been my daily commute, my forest bike, my night ride bike, my race bike, and my all-day mountain adventure bike. The frame is very well made with perfect welds and attention to detail. It’s ready to go when and wherever you want to, it can handle anything you put it through. Quick enough for the twistiest singletrack but forgiving enough to ride all day, minimal maintenance, nothing ever breaks,

Anyone who likes surgical singletrack will love this bike. One or two bikes have come and gone, but this is the one that gives me the most pleasure, the biggest smiles, the most connection with nature/earth.

It is also my wife’s favourite too, it becomes hers for family rides out. Hence the swept bars and lady seat in some pictures.

The ONLY reason for parting with this bike is that we are emigrating to India, living out of suitcases for a few years, so the chances of having, somewhere to keep it and time to use it and then not getting bitten or eaten while riding it are slim to none.
