Going back to Disco Drive - Your obviously not pushing your Escort C if its being made to look like a bonus 1.3 ! ! !
I spent just £3500 on my own rebuild with greys, hybrid T4, cams, Mahle low comps and the obvious chip, wastegate, swirls etc etc. and dyno'd at a true 410 BHP at the four wheels !!! Along with removal of any unecessary parts such as hideously large stereo, air con etc etc , you then have an ultra light super handling Skyline eating monster !!
I have only ever been caned once whilst at Southend cruise by a twin engined Golf !! Mental stuff ! Sub ten second runs without a strain !
Dont lose sight of the ol Cossie stuff though bud! All these modern scoobys ( which all sound like misfire !! ) Skylines, Evo's etc will come and go but true racing Heritage came in the form of an RS500 !! Truelly one of the best engine companys in the world !

If you want to beat a Skyline, you want a Mk3 Golf GTI with a LOT of tuning. Probably won't be as durable though

how did i miss a skyline post!!!
hehehe... going sideways round the main A12/M25 roundabout in the dry is a never ending memory of one particular R34... that along with 180 on dodgy turbos (the week before it blew up... ir then there was the time that 600bhp's worth of mines came past me at full chat, just because id burned him up!! oohh... the skyline tales!!!
