Very good looking bicycle! Shimano make a mini v brake, the br-r353, might be a better look and a better fit with those brake levers

Thanks, I've tried mini v brakes, have to be set too close to the rim to work satisfactorily. I've purchased some specific v brake drop bar levers for the v brakes.

An old style 'brake booster' will stop the brake j.j.j.jjjjudder (sorry about that)
