Single Speed Slippage

Sorry, haven't read through all of above closely enough so could be blowing smoke but could it actually be the cassette hub that is slipping? I have had an old cassette hub slip in the past (geared not ss although that is not really relevant).

Just a thought, probably a pointless one.

i was reading down the page and the gonna say freehub body failier if it ain't the tensioner you beat me ed

I would guess likely tensioner.
Had same thing on a cheapy on-one that I bought. POS self destructed too.
Lst minute into shop purchase, and got a dobber DMR, not sprung, but fixed with allen bolt in position. Much better, as once its set, it stays there and can be used up or down.

Self inflicted wound so no sympathy. Bit like shooting yourself to get out of the trenches and messing it up. So I am told.
