It was named that so Kona could have the title of longest bike name, and shortest name, with the AA.

The Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is the Hawaii State Fish. Grunts like a pig. Makes the grunt sound when it puffs air and water out of its mouth at sand to look for food hidden in the sand.

To the OP: I like your "beach cruiser". I hope to see one in the wild some day.

This, to me, is just one of those bikes which looks ‘right’. It’s has just the right mix of tidiness, patina, originality and personal touches. Hats off to you - a genuinely lovely thing you have created.
