Update on the Wanga. Full XTR now on the bike. Only M950 piece is the RD. Don't have one but looking. So the crankset has a 5 arm spider and not 4 arm, is this aftermarket or an option then?

Option. The better option: you can buy new rings today from dozens of makers. Unlike the proprietary shimano 4 arm rings that were so expensive evryone just threw out the crankset when one of the rings was done and bought a race face turbine to replace it.

Very very nice! Everything looks period correct. Congrats for the project. I am finishing my Bizango soon. I will upload some pictures as well

What about the Tange Struts rigid fork you were talking about?
After some research, the Tange Struts fork are not for suspension corrected frames. It was a shame because the segmented forks are very nice. Also the fork I found was 1" threaded and I needed 1 1/8" threadedless.

In the end I bought a Kona P2.

Here's my 1999 Voodoo Hoodoo. Not quite finished yet but not too far off. The P2's on it aren't TB but I've just sourced a pair that I'll swap over for. Also got some Turbines and reissue Ti Flite to go on as well. Rest of the kit is Easton bars and stem, Thomson post, Hope wheels, lx brakes, Ultegra rear mech and 9 speed cassette along with some Dura Ace thumbies. Should fly when it's built!

Very happy to see some activity in this thread! My turn! Here my 96’ Bizango with the P2. Photo took yesterday when I received the wheels, DT Hügi with Bontrager Mustang Asym rims. As you can see Kooka cranks, Titec stem and Raceface bars. Ready to install Hope headset, full XT grupset, Raceface seat post, WTB saddle and grips… I am not very convinced about the colour scheme but those wheels were a bargain. Now I am looking for WTB Speedmaster cantis and Kooka levers… fingers crossed!

96 Ti Canzo just finished. Was all there so really only needed a wipe down and cables/housing. Shock was cracked but somehow I had a matching one that I fully rebuilt so spare parts for that. M739 levers, brakes and Derailleurs. Wheels were replaced with M737 hubs, Mavic 221 rims. Sugino crankset, Judy DH fork, Grip Shifters. Need a Control Tech post in black to finish the build but silver is fine for now.

My 2000 Hoodoo AL
Bought in a poor working state, 8 speed cassette on 9 speed shifters, knackered headset and front mech.
From the original owner, bought in the states near MOAB and used there😃 Still has the shop sticker on it from a bike shop now gone.
Other side has some fading, which I quite like, almost Klienesque🤔
Put together with bits I had and used as a winter bike last year.
Now in bits as have another winter steed, strangely another American import from it's original owner!
Will move on to make some room.
