1999 M-TRAX 450. A little new perhaps but the plan is to retro-ise it with rigid forks / '97 components in a (vain?) attempt to make it look pretty(ish). Anyway, this is how it arrived and I haven't got far yet!

Thanks! Not a minter but all there bar the tyres and synchros stem. Really fancied trying an 853 framed M-TRAX but prefer a rigid bike and, when finished, will hopefully sit well with my 350 and 400.
Feels significantly lighter than Optima tubed frame - looking forward to see how all this translates in the ride!

This may well have been the cheapest way to get one legitimately! Will see if I'm sensitive enough to tell the difference.

1988 Raleigh Mirage

I've been attacking this bike restoration game wrongly all these years. This time I'm going to start with a mint bike and make it even minterer. I need info on which tyres would have been specced on this bike, if anyone could help?

You've made me feel bad now - yours looks truly amazing and an awesome photo too!
I'm not getting rid of any of the standard parts so it can always revert whenever I find out I've made a big mistake in changing it
Have you made any changes to the forks?
