Shopping channel electric bike offer!

Surfing TV channels this evening and I came across the shopping channel and their special offer of an electric bike, from a brand I have never heard of.

I know newish tech can carry a buyers premium, but I wouldn't be blowing my bucks on what I can only see as a low spec, low end bike with a battery pack and an electric wheel.

I'd avoid to. Its a BSO with a motorized wheel. All full of parts more likely to break than work.

Probably designed to be used a couple of times at the weekend, in the summer moths.

Its that old saying that while you can't polish a turd, you can roll it in glitter, this hasn't even been rolled in glitter.

as a bike shop owner, these are the bikes i dread people bringing to me for a repair, i do refuse certain bikes, you can't get spares, they are unreliable, poor quality etc.

I have a deep sense of sympathy for those who buy these EBSO's only to haave them break or cease to function a few montrhs down the line. It is a lot of money they are paying, and im sure while some can afford such a loss, many cannot.
