1990s GT Timberline with 2010s electric conversion

Retro Newbie
I recently picked up this Timberline with electric conversion fitted. I found myself enjoying the bike (unpowered) far more than I thought I would as all my other bike are variou forms of crazy home built electric (insert 50 year old Raleigh that will do +60kph and a mini cargo bike with a range of 200km @30kph, a kids 250w kick scooter over volted/amped to 3200w).

The plan is to remove the kit and repack the battery, and then sell the kit which will hopefully net me a slight profit and a free bike! The bike itself is pretty tidy. I remember the days Rock Shox like this would make you the coolest kid in school! Seeing I plan to remove the kit, I'll need to find a replacement front wheel.

The last picture shows the cells inside the battery. The are 7 very old and weird 10ah lithium cells. These will be replaced with 7 rows of six 18650 cells which I will spot weld together, to make a 19.2ah pack of 42 cells.
