Rojo's 1997 Kona Kilauea

Does make sense RE the bar. Just means it'll sweep away from the rider then though, giving a cm or so more reach. Will do as you say as I have no idea which way to fit/flip it, haha :)

Bar problem sorted...it's bent! It looks to sweep opposite ways on opposing sides of the bar.

Remember kids, clean your jockey wheels:

Will pick up cables, new brake pads and new chain tomorrow.

Wow oh wow mate you done amazing job looks a brand new bike

Very grateful I really am.

turned out very nice - great work done so far. shifter pods looks like new. brake levers are a bit tatty and rusty from what I can see on the pics. :(
any plans to tidy them up ?

Can paint the bodies of the levers Black, just need to find some masking tape. Although I do have some chrome ones that I could swop them for.

Saddle does need burnt. Rojo can find a new perch :)

I have a saddle that I think meant to be on it here somewhere.

Amazing job mate wow those shifters do look brand new. Selling them would make near double what I paid for bike. Crazy

No bother, will keep me occupied for 48hrs if nothing else, haha :)

Was surprised the seatpost and bottom bracket weren't seized on this bike, given the neglect it had suffered. Both were absolutely fine though. Just shows that with the proper grease being used at some stage has done its job down the line.
