Any reason why you're fitting a velocity one inch stem when it was one and one eigth? This might be why you're having bar clamp issues.

Stem, headset and forks are all 1 1/8". No issues there. Bar is a wavey shape and I'm just not sure which way to rotate it, no seem one like it before, it's like an upside down riser.

New bottom bracket is in and left hand crank arm has been polished and fitted. Just degreasing the drive side and rear mech now.

Rojo: what we doing about Pedals? Please don't make me refit the spikey ones that were on there. They weigh a ton!

The bar must go the other way as every bar I own has the logo so you can read it if you stand at the front of the bike looking towards the saddle.
