Rocky Mountain Winner?

@Hverschuren I see there is a very nice Rocky Mountain on marktplaats.nl:

Hi Grantoury,

That's actually the bike and advert that woke up up my slumbering desire to ever own one.
However, the asking price was was too high and I decided to first start with a frame(set),
Not succesful as yet.
Thanks for sharing though.

For a RM in that state, I don't think it is too expensive..

A rocky Mountain build seems to be a logical step-up from the mid-range beauties that I've done so far
Indeed but also within the Rocky Mountain Range there are very desirable models and less.
Some had been handmade in Canada, some in Japan, some came since almost ever from Taiwan.
Also some crack but others are very reliable. So there is no generic Rocky Mountain bike...
Maybe I should shift towards early 90s hybrids, due to my 1,93 mtr.
Rocky Mountain Metro may be something to look for.
Midrange quality and produced in Taiwan but reliable and with nice geometry and fast rolling 700c wheels (mathematical not correct but those hybrids are to me still the early 29ers)

Thanks for the lead, I'll add that one to my ever so growing list of desirable early hybrids. Sofar I've collected the brands/types (not the bikes 🙁):

Specialized Crossroads
Diamondback overdrive
GT continuüm 700d
Bianchi project 3/5/7
Schwinn crisscross
Trek 750
Haro alpha
Bianchi avenue
Marin sausalito
Raleigh Pioneer trial
Bridgestone xo series
GT tachyon
Cannondale sh series
Gt virage
Mongoolse dynametric
Univega via charisma
Univega via de oro
Kuwahaa c-pacer
Klein adept

The search proves to be even more challenging than finding thát 26" gem!
Due to less numbers at the time, I guess?

There also seem to exist a Shogun Metro, also Taiwan made, could it be soet of the same?
