In the meantime I have also picked up a bit more m900 so I have a full bikes worth now (save for post and headset) so will run with that

any now several months later the bike is up and running and got its first trip "over the field"

mostly m900, 737 rear mech, some pace carbon jobbie forks - front canti set up was an arse. had to swap the pads over - i guess because they are reverse mounted

rides nicely - very stable
