Rich, I can pick you up from Macclesfield station and we can drive up.
I was going to ride up to the Cat and Fiddle from my house. It takes me about 30-35 minutes on a good day, but it's a bit tight on time if the train gets in at ten to ten, plus it'd be nice to have plenty in reserve for the ride.

There are a couple of short steep sections, but I've configured the ride so most of the climbs use gentler gradients. Thankfully I won't be using a 42:25 bottom gear this time.
There are a few steep descents though so make sure your brakes work.

It'd be nice to see something other than the electric yoghurt pot Dave...

i can already hear dave moaning that his colnago dose not have a compact chainset on it , count me in paul
