Rear mech banging on frame

You need to adjust the screw near the dropout. The one that actually touches the mech hanger.

If adjusting it (screw it clockwise) doesn't tilt the mech into a position where you have more clearance, the internal spring is most likely broken. In that case I'd suggest changing the mech. It's just a Deore, not worth mourning really.

ok i took the rear mech off the other day and the spring on the thread that screws in to the hanger just swung back and didnt do much afterwards

Is the screw even on the hanger??
I think thats what it will be.

B screw is on the hanger will have to take it in to the bike shop that I got it fitted by

theres a good vid of a shimano mech and a sram mech on bumpy ground.
The shimano mech really jumps up and down whereas the sram remained rigid
