Thanks man - well, it’s light but not as light as it could be.
The Campag Cranks and especially the Euclid pedals are quite weighty - the Sachs New Success is also solid and very well made and weighs slightly more than comparable M900.
I’m waiting for some Campagnolo Record OR Pedals which are featherweight and will cut the weight down. The Wolber tyres aren’t featherweights neither.
But considering all that this is still very light - 2 fingers and you’ll easily have it over your head.
The original M900 spec'd bike was 22.3 lbs. This weighs in at approx 24 lbs.

Question is - bar ends or not ?
And if so - what euro made bar ends are like the answer hyper lite and bolt inside the ends?

Is this basically the same frame as the MT5? Except like the MT4, when sold as a complete bike it had a name (Decade instead of Ogre)?

The main tubes of the Decade are Metal Matrix, as far as I understood, but how about the other bits of the frame? The rear triangle looks similar in design to my MT4 -- is it Ti as well, or is it all MM?

Thanks man - this was my ‘grail’ bike - thanks to Carambakid for sending me a PM out of the blue offering the frame for sale - and I bough It - it has Ti chain stays - not sure about the seat stay.

I think this was the top of Raleigh’s Dynatech range - not quite an Ogre version of the MT4 because this has the Trimmel forks which as far as I know you couldn’t select as an option for any other - so quite unique. Later the Torus had the Gen 2 forks which I believe were far easier to fit.

I tried hard to make it an all Euro build - not much I could do about the Headset as it’s custom made for the frame and forks - and I used SRAM shifter cable intentionally as SRAM bought Sachs so only fitting to use that cable with the mechs.

(I’ve been told this is a keeper - but if any collector wants it - and lack this in their collection - give me a shout. I won’t split or sell to anyone or anywhere bar a good home as I believe there aren’t that many of these around).

Nicely presented and enjoyed it! Good to see a Dynatech build there on youtube - I chose the sdame grips for my wife's Cannondale M800 - same colour too!
I don't think the welds were done on the cheap at all - my Decade has the same style dropouts - I do think they look distinctive and as I've put on youtube - stylised.
