Picked up a freebee yesterday, rusted spokes on the wheels but beyond that all working well, quite impressed how light it was in comparison to my mountain bikes. Is it worth cleaning it up or rip out the components and shot it in the trash?

I soaked all the rusted bolts in vinegar and cleaned them up all looking sparkling, also the wheels were naf so bought a set of mavic aksium? for £10 decent nick will take a picture once bar tape and new chain fitted not bad for all of about £40 put in
