Saracen Sahara Elite, Tange double butted frame 46cm c-c/50cm c-t effective top tube is 57cm c-c
too small for me, was considering it for my grandson but he'd just wreck it and leave it out to go manky.
The frame has some marks and a few spots of surface tarnishing but nothing bad, bolt heads have also tarnished a bit but not rusted, it's been dr stored in a garage all its life with little actual use.
i think the back whee/rim has been replaced with a wider Alesa, and this is the only small issue with the bike. There's one bent spoke and a few need tightening up, it's not horrendously out and doesn't hit the pads. The front is I presume the original Wolber anodised and is barely marked, both are fitted to Shimano QR hubs and shod with very useable tyres (tubes hold air fine).
As you can see it's got the 7speed Deore Thumbies, Shimano Cantis which work well to bring the bike to a stop. 300LX Exage Biopace triple plus 300/400LX Rear and front derailleur. Cranks and mechs are grubby but will clean up nice, Casstte not worn at all and again needs a good clean. BB runs smoothly and shifts are as expected even with some clag on the jockey wheels. no corrosion to the chain, again needs a thorough clean.
Deore flat pedals spin round fine and aren't loose.
Seatpost isn't stuck but I haven't regreased, stem is also free and easy to adjust.
Original gel saddle which has a bite out the nose but is still comfortable.
I'd like £130 for it, based in N.Herts, I could possibly post if I can get a non soggy bike box and carry it back home. Also if you don't mind it been dismantled a bit. I'd need to get it uplifted unless I can get a lift to the post office so say £20 postage and that'll be with full insurance cover
