does anyone know what type of oil and how much i should put in my rear noleen shock on my proflex 857? thanks.

I have a couple of pdf's, one showing the oil change & recommends between 12 to 20 wt oil. The standard is 30 wt.
The other shows how to service the ODS & is a proflex tech force pdf.

Pm me your email & I will send them

Sorry, just seen the word noleen & not ods shock. If you have a look on the proflex forum, the info you want will be there.

First check your shocks shaft for corrosion. No corrosion, Mick Gardner Racing will rebuild for a very nominal sum.

If there is corrosion on the shaft then it's dead, Noleen J6 in the states have got the parts but it's not cheap with all the shipping.

If your frame is not size small then there are alternatives, Risse do a direct fit air shock, or someone on here has made an adaptor to fit a fox air shock.
