50mm stem to replace the 40mm arrived, as did the AXS shifter rocker button, the button fitted isn’t the most intuitive so thought I’d give the upgrade button a try.

You’ve only had it one ride, give it a chance! Loads of people moan about it but I’ve never seen the problem with it.

You were right, after rigorous in-field testing, I actually prefer the original, fits my old man arthritic thumb much better!

But at least I know now and it won’t bug me that I haven’t tried it.

Was a nice day for another shakedown, got my saddle height set and such, felt much better today.

Have a Fabric Scoop Race Radius coming, used them in the past and found them a comfy saddle so should get sat back a bit.

Have you chucked it down some more testing trails yet? Just wondering what you think of it

No I haven’t had a chance unfortunately, my mother in law had a massive stroke two weeks ago so we’ve been up and down to Dollar and the Forth Valley Hospital loads this last while.

I’d planned to take it down to ‘Macretro Baltic Bawbags’ last weekend, but that got knocked on the head too.

Hopefully get out on it soon though.
