Nice one John...walnuts sound a bit more poncy (poncey?) than Ryvita to be fair, but I am willing to give it a go (love walnuts )
I'm assuming you cook your red onions before....or do you simply add raw red onions to your cheese sarnies ( presumably mature cheddar...although I guess a crumbly goats would work really well)

jam and cheddar cheese

marmite and butter on toast in a sandwich, left for a couple of hours, then eaten cold - it's chewy and delicious Very Happy
