The black fork and the shape of the seatstays where they meet the seatpost suggest that Breukink also used a TVT in the 1990 TdF

Yes, cool photo of Bruikink in the mountain time trial, yes you can pick out the shape of the seatstays.

I took a lot of the paint off with a sander, then I used "carbolift" paint stripper on the remaining paint. The carbolift paste is applied to the frame and fork, everything is wrapped in cling film and you keep the temperature just over 25 degrees for 7 hours. I was happy with the results of he first pass. I then used a wire scour pad to remove the softened paint. It will take another treatment to completely remove the paint - much better than using a razor blade on the frame.

Pat - you have to do big homework … I do not know of a PDM Concorde labeled TVT with the single steering tube …

Those look great. Yes I have a clear photo from the 1990 Nissan Classic - Kelly on St Patrick's Hill in Cork, Ireland - it is in the 1991 Nissan Classic Race Programme, I will upload it in a while.

Here is Gert Jakobs - 1990 Tour I presume by the Coca Cola water bottles. The PDM jersey also changed for the 91 season. You can see the curve on the seat stays and the typical TVT fork ends.

I absolutely love the TVM Zullo project. I do notice that Theunisse's original TVT "Zullo" does sport the "marble effect" paintjob. Are you going to get that replicated?

Sorry No - it wasn't too much for the painter who paints the TVT in yellow, but I think the yellow coulouring should be enough.
But I will open my own thread for the construction of the yellow Zullo TVT92 Carbone, where we can discuss all these details

... and so don't hijack Pat's fantastic thread for rebuilding a PDM called TVT92 :mrgreen:
