Wanted Paul derailleur red anodized

How do you get on with import duties and stuff?
It depends how risk averse you are..

You will pay duties on marked/declared value so if you buy goodies for.. lets say £300 and the value is declared at £300 you will pay duties on the £300, so the goodies will cost you closer to £400, if said goodies go mia, you would be insured for the loss.

or

You buy goodies for £300, you declare the value to be £20, you pay zero duties but if the goodies go mia, you can only claim for the £20 marked value.

EMS are rediculously reliable, ive been using them for 15yrs+ with zero losses, they piggyback on comercial flights and are collected at the border by ParcelForce so it's tracked all the way but if you did want to used FedEx (no handover at the border) the option is there but at 4x the cost.
