Jitsie pads to go with the Avid SD7 levers and DXR v brakes, combined with some SP51 outer cable it’s supposed to be an extremely powerful combo. Thanks Trials Addict for the pads!
Brakes arrived, wheels arrived, and my mate Glynn sent me a few awesome parts for the build! Not going to use the fire XC pro’s now but have some original Michelin Hot S tyres to replace
Right so I fitted a black CK headset to see if the steerer was long enough and guess what…it wasn’t!? Luckily my mate Alex is going to extend it for me by TIG welding it
Yep the original owner has the same issue and the King is a high stack compared to others. If you do end up extending it, make sure it's sleeved internally and then welded as well. Also go for a bit longer and add spacers
Did another mockup last week just need to post pics to the thread tonight. Fitted some Raceface bars and Red HOPE skewers so it looks even more like a bike now, oh, and i got another delivery from @PLIW , mint set of Odyssey Triple Traps! Still need to send fork off to get steerer lengthened.
