Sounds good! Stripping old bolts of any finish is fairly easy, just degrease with washing liquid then strip them in a caustic soda and warm water solution (dip them in and out using a tea-strainer sieve if you’ve got one, quick dips rather than 20 or 30 seconds as it can eat into the bolts.

Alternatively I just checked http://www.nylonalloys.co.uk and they offer unfinished bolts meaning you’d just have to clean them and dip them (no stripping of old anodising involved which may f up the finish). They did do small orders when I bought from them.

We are mainly set up to deal with trade inquiries. Whilst we can accept orders from private individuals, orders have to be a minimum goods value of £30 (exc. VAT) with payment made via credit or debit card in advance of processing your order. It is unfortunately un-economic to deal with small orders from private individuals
