That's the new split clamp stem from Pace

I'd be checking absolutely everything on the bike very carefully, might be more things to find.

I noticed the crack in the stem after I posted .

I checked over the bike and couldn't see any other cracks.

I decided it wasn't for me, so I've moved the bike on.

Sorry...late to the thread.

The crack is too long for simple repair.
Personally I would prefer to turn down a new headtube and replace the whole thing, then ream and chamfer it to the correct tolerances.

I've done a couple of Paces (and plenty of Manitous) like this.
