Is the ride of this much different to the pace ?

Hard to say Ollie - yesterday the Yo felt sharper in the climbs, but I think that was down to my legs feeling like crap last time I was on the Pace :shock:

Having said that, the Pace feels "Just Right", especially with the Syncros Post/Flite saddle, though I will give the X-Lite post/saddle combo an honest chance before I pass verdict there

The Yo is is a lot more twitchy on fast downhills if you weight the front end too much, but I think lopping 15mm off the stem length would cure that

During the summer I'll take them both out back-to-back on my "loop" and see

Thanks. The LX stuff is basically what was on my old bike, though they do have sentimental value, as I was given them by Terry Wright Cycles in '93, after a weeks work experience in their shop, before I left the RAF. Performed faultlessly ever since
