Well i hope you've got a better idea of what your considering now and i have to agree about the lack of Suntour parts out their but that's just down to the popularity of Shimano i guess ..

Just happens that I have an Eldridge Grade up for grabs going for a very modest price with LX/DX groupset.

Just seen it, and it's quite nice. Maybe a bit big though? How long is the top tube?

I wonder how it would compare with an Orange? It's cheap, but is it what I want? Doesn't have bags of retro appeal visually. Your Eldridge Grade is cooler looking... but obviously the ride is the thing.
