NW&NWA Mountain Mayhem Preparation Thread

I want to congatulate my team on a top notch performance at mayhem ! For all the abuse you get Mr K i say fare play to you for getting round on the historic muddy fox! You three organise yourselves a night of curry, laughter, shoeing and beer cause i'm still working this crappy night shift so it will be difficult for me to make it chaps. ;)

Howabout we all do the July 8th Clayton Vale then get a curry in Rusholme on the way home??

Mr K
Liking your thinking Neil, last one to finish gets a shoeing! (might I regret that  )

... to finish the curry I assume you mean, especially after your last Clayton mishap...

Mr K

Shall we do this then? Race at Clayton (Paul if its your first time at race club you have to race, Woody isn't it time you had a sick day?) and then off a curry and team debrief.

If so would you like picking up Neil? Thus removing the 'I had to ride down a short cycle path in central Manchester to get here' excuse.

I know how humiliating it must have been for you to bonk out last time then realise that I had cycled to and from the event as well as giving that Ti a good beating.... I need all the warm up I can get so, unless it's tipping it down, I'll pedal in again, ta.

Humiliating stuff indeed Neil, made all the more remarkable that your managed a constant pace from front door to race track, throughout the race and then home again. Anyway I feel I should be using my minor moderating powers at this time and remind you this Is a Mayhem thread and should be kept topical, thus has anyone seen the MM lap times?

Bringing things back on topic...

The kettle took a while to boil on lap twelve then...

04:15 was a lonely place for sure - I guess you'd been kicked out of the iron lung by then and were dreaming of inner chimps riding purple Saracens. I stopped for 14 minutes I reckon, had a brew, disconnected the lights as they weren't working/it was nearly light and plodded on. Not my favourite moments of MM10...
