I wanted to go to NAHBS this year, unfortunately i got made redundant, luckily i was just about to book the flight when i found out, frankly i was more gutted about not going to NAHBS than i was about the job (it's boring or hassle, no inbetween) so my conciliation is to keep an eye on the NAHBS website and various facebook pages to get my fix of information!

so i thought i'd start this thread to have info from the show all in one place, there are usually vids for each builder via youtube aswel as plenty of pictures, some of which i'll grab in the next few minutes as some builders have already shown glimpses of their frames but i'll also post some pics of previous show bikes.

last year the stand out brands for me were:-

Demon Frameworks (obviously)
Groovy Cycleworks
Peacock Groove
Ti Cycles
Kent Eriksen
Geekhouse
Applemen
English Cycles

the are obviously others but too many to mention

as i find info i'll be putting it up here, the show starts on friday in Charlotte North Carolina (not too far from First Flight bikes)

Erik Noren of Peacock Groove.

more pics from the NAHBS facebook page and website

Sycip cargo bike, i think there is a specific category for this style of bike as i know several builders have made something in this style

Reeb bikes, a brand owned by the Oscar Blues Brewery, the name is "beer" spelt backwards! this is a 27.5 dirt jump bike but they do all sorts of styles, really nicely made, they work in steel and titanium

Quiring fat bike, just cool.

Conner Wood E Woody, not my style but cool what can be done with a material not usually associated with bikes.

Phwoarr!!! Some stunning bikes there.

One day I WILL get a bike custom made just for me.

Isn't that Dura-Ace the ugliest crank ever!

I love the hi-lo rear hub; delightfully retro and sound engineering of wheel design too.

I really liked that Quiring fat frame in the pic of just the frame
Built up it looks like a worm ridden dog dragging its arse along the floor...which is a shame :( :D
