Roughly What you get from stacking the down tube letters, on the right, compared to the 'problematic' seat tube repro on the left:

Re:

Okay then.... this is the scenario...a super rare 1962 Ferrari GTO has been discovered. The last one of this type sold for a world record $52 million dollars. It is restored by one of the world's top specialists to the highest standard possible. It is then presented to to Ferrari at their headquarters in Maranello so they can cast their eager eye over this beautiful car. Then the shock and disbelief when they notice the iconic Prancing Horse is facing the wrong direction....how do you think they will feel.... :?: .... the same as Raleigh... :!:

The Ferrari thing would be more relevant if it were:

Personally I couldnt give a flying **** where the decals are, I'm more concerned about the quality of the drop-outs and the overall build, it is awful

Well... I've demonstrated to my own satisfaction- although perhaps not to vcballbat's nor anyone else's with my rough old sketchwork - that what he is asking for is for the same font- meaning the same degree of italicisation- to be used on the seat tube transfer as is used on the down tube transfer..

Re:

Yes, while each is a valid point to each individual poster the importance of each issue is a personal thing.
I can though, see this heading down the same path as last thread.
Try to keep it relevant.

You have done a great job and have shown how easily this can be with your artwork...so why have decal suppliers got this wrong for so long eludes me. As I have said before if i am going to spend £300-400 on paint I want it to be correct as the original if i am going to present this a an alternative to those who are offended and hate the new Ti 40 and want the real deal.
Or should I just get it done looking all wrong and bang it on eBay and achieve £1500... :?:
Also as i have said before... isn't the ethos of Retrobike to help, guide and offer advice to fellow bikers.. :?:
