My Proflex 454 project

You may have seen my thread about wanting to try out a proflex and then finding a 454 as project.
Well here it is. I forgot to take many photos before I started the strip down this weekend 🤦
In fact this is the only one i have 😁
There are some videos of it on Youtube if you search on the make/model. And yes, i know i will never be a famous " content creator" lol

I have just proved my belief that patience is a retro bikers greatest tool is true........earlier in the day i had struggled to get the crank remover tool threaded into the drive side crank. I could see and feel threads but wondered if they were slightly damaged?
Anyway, I was working on the bike leant up against a wall and thought i had better strip everything else off and come back to it, preferably with the frame in the work stand so it was at a better height to work on.
Just grabbed 5 minutes in the dark with a head torch on. Crank remover threaded in first go and the crank came off easily 😁
