My NOS Miyata Century

Hi people,

About a year ago or so I acquired Erkan's Century. I made a little photo footage than. View it here >>>

About a month ago fellow forummember 'Beepbeep' provided me a heads up on a NOS 18.5" one for sale through Blocket.se. Many thanks to 'Beepbeep' as I were able to get my hands on that one too >>>

So is this a rare frame? Not in my stable I fear, as the counter is at 3  I am pretty confident that doesn't reflect the actual situation of Century portion in world bicycle population though. I have them in 3 different sizes now. Erkan's I don't fit and is hence only suitable for display purposes. The 20.5" and 18.5" do work for me. The build one, the 20.5, I have ridden quite often and quite hard in the past. It is a great handling bike, probably also partially due to the direct Switchblades. It is also very sturdy, nevertheless I after a severe crash (that didn't cause damage to the frame and its most vital parts fortunately), I decided to retire it from serious hammering. It would be a shame to wreck it, as you will understand. Happy to be owner of those significant bikes in Miyata history. In the stable they are accompanied by several more Miyata milestones.
