Last week I was very lucky and got my hands on a Koga Miyata SkyrunnerCBL. The 1990 model! Not a bike that is often encountered.

The bike is in near catalogue spec and is in very very very good condition. To me it seems that the bike is never ridden. There are no scratches on the cranks or frame and there is no wear on the chain rings and rims at all! The pictures below show the condition as collected.

Only a few components are missing regarding catalogue spec:
- Hite-rite
- Syncros Steerhorns
- Bottle cages

Planning to restore it to catalogue spec. Enjoy the pics below and have a nice weekend!
That looks more than amazing!
I came across this thread because 2 weeks ago I got myself the same bike(size 46) but it was in quite the opposite condition of yours!
Anyways such a coincidence that 2 of these bikes sold in a couple months (assuming yours is dutch as well).

Thanks, cool you found one too!
Maybe you could share some pictures as well?
Yep mine is Dutch bought it from a bike shop employee in Utrecht.

It’s still a work in progress but this is what I have been working on the last couple weeks.
At first I replaced the sti units for thumbshifters and the steerhorns for prohorns but I feel the steerhorns fit the bike better and wanted to give the stock shifters a chance.
How are your shifters working? I have to be really precise when going to a smaller ring up front otherwise I go instantly from the big ring to the granny. It feels like theres too much tension on the cable. Hopefully Ill find time to sort this out over the weekend.
