My Merlin XLM (usable, perhaps not finished!)

Re: My Merlin XLM

Back to a compact 94BCD purple spider, rather than the former silver ATB i'll put first on the bike. As the purple one is not as flat as the silver, i would be able to use a shorter BB, i'm waiting on a Ti 113mm axle
I'm not sure to use the 22t purple granny, as i prefer double chainrings crankset, actually 42/32 that would fit the granny :?: I'll perhaps look for a 29t silver Middleburn.

Some pics from this afternoon ;)
I replace the ahead P2 for a threaded Ritchey, so change of headset. I put on a Zoom canti hanger, but i'm looking for a Ritchey one

Re:

6 monthes later, my bike is rideable  . Very hard to set up the cantis rightly (my LBS finished my work  )
A lot of changes in the parts

Very nice. The fork, the brakes, the Flite. I like the change of stem, too. Purple's great on an otherwise monochrome canvas.

If I had an XLM, though, I'd want a suspension fork on it because we'd be spending too much time in the woods!
