My grown up Soul ... Cotic Solaris

It's an XL.

It's longer in the TT than my other frames.

It's a stiffer ride than the Soul, but that's no surprise given the beefier tubes especially the ST.

I had an hours ride yesterday on it.

It's a lot snappier to accelerate than the Soul that was whippier if that makes sense.

Defies its 29lb heft!

Ah, I think that does make sense a bit. Classic steel 26er if light can whip up off the start very nicely, but I guess this snaps into business in a more stable kind of style. Sounds more like the BFe then...

It's currently running a 70mm stem and 762mm bar.

I have a layback post and a 50mm stem I "may" try.
